NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that there is no stay for the verdict that allowed entry of women of all age groups to Sabarimala.
The apex court decided to consider the review petitions in an open court on January 22.
However, there is no stay on the judgment of the Supreme Court. In its order, the Bench said, “we make it clear that there is no stay of judgment dated September 28.”
These review petitions were heard in the chjamber of chief justice before the Bench of CJI Ranjan Gogoi and Justices Rohinton Nariman, AM Khanwilkar, DY Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra.
Forty-nine review petitions were filed in total.
