Veteran actor KD Chandran, the father of actor-dancer Sudha Chandran, passed away in Mumbai on Sunday morning. He was 84. His daughter and actor-dancer Sudha Chandran confirmed the news. He was from the Iranjalakuda Kizhakootumadam family.

He was admitted to Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai because of advanced kidney disease. That led him to suffer from cardiac arrest. “He had kidney problems.
